Jean Jacques Maillot’s original idea of cube, his creative support, is the result of five years at The National School of Fine Arts, professional experience and personal research.
After dedicating two years to this research on details, forms, materials, and glueing together techniques, he managed to achieve this creative support of evasion which is now his own.
His creations are the result of shapes, colours, materials, and the painting becomes a sculpture in space. The subject goes from a static form to an animated one. This process allows the audience to see a work which looks different wherever you stand.
The various cubic sides give a different vibration and a feeling of movement when the beholder moves. Finding new materials to develop his creations is the artist’s next challenge.
